How many words can you use to describe our delicious entrees, if a picture requires a thousand?
"Had a lovely dinner at Umberto's last night for my birthday. Chicken Umberto was flavorful and delicious. My father got a blackened grouper special- also great! The house wine is priced at $22 a bottle, a steal! Our server Eric was attentive and friendly!"
"What a great place!! One of the best places I have had dinner while in MB. It's a must visit. Be sure to try the veal chop!!!"
"This is a yearly treat that I will never miss. The food is fantastic and service is the best. They have a few specialties on the menu but I suggest the grilled pork chops. They are cooked to perfection, it takes pork chops to a new dimension. The meal is served in various courses and is a relaxing evening."
"Been coming here for over 10 years - it's a must when we are in Myrtle. Everything about this place is authentic and just like my Italian mom would make. The pork chops are THICK. One is enough. Juicy and tasty. The chicken Antonio is stuffed with provolone and prosciutto, adding the right amount of salt. My favorite item is the osso buco. Falls off the bone. You will leave here with leftovers, no doubt about it. So, plan on leftovers and leave room for coffee and dessert."
"So much food! My family ate at Umberto's last evening and everything was delicious! Every meal comes with beans and greens, tomato and cucumber salad and angel hair pasta served family style. We had the penne vodka, chicken French and chicken Marsala. All the dishes were excellent. Not one of our party of five had a complaint about our meals. Our waitress was very attentive, clearing plates, refilling drinks, etc. We will definitely go back!"
The food is outstanding and you will not leave hungry and most likely will leave with a "snack" for later. The lamb chop and pork chop combo special was juicy and perfectly done. My New York Strip ranked right up there with the finest chop houses.
